WHO WE ARE Padelchecker ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile app that helps you find and monitor available padel court timeslots across multiple booking platforms. Contact: contact@padelchecker.nl --- 2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY a) Account data - Email address and password — required to create and manage your account. - We use Supabase (supabase.com) as our authentication and database provider. Your credentials are stored securely by Supabase and never accessed directly by us. b) Notification watches - When you create a watch, we store your search preferences: selected clubs, court duration, court size (single/double), coverage type (indoor/outdoor/roofed), date(s) or day(s) of the week. - This data is stored on our server and used exclusively to check court availability and send you push notifications when matching slots are found. c) Device token - When you enable notifications, your device's Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token is stored on our server linked to your account. This is required to deliver push notifications to your device. - FCM is provided by Google. Google's privacy policy applies to notification delivery: https://policies.google.com/privacy d) Search preferences - Your last-used search preferences (duration, court size, coverage, location query, and radius) are saved locally on your device so your settings persist between sessions. This data never leaves your device. e) Server logs - Our server records standard HTTP access logs, which include IP addresses, request timestamps, and endpoints accessed. These logs are used for security monitoring and troubleshooting and are not shared with third parties. --- 3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT - We do NOT access your device's GPS or precise location. Location-based searches use an address string you type yourself. - We do NOT collect analytics, behavioral data, or usage statistics. - We do NOT use advertising or tracking technologies. - We do NOT access your contacts, calendar, photos, camera, or microphone. - We do NOT sell your data to any third party. --- 4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES To provide the app's functionality, your data may be processed by the following services: - Supabase (supabase.com) — authentication and database hosting. Stores your account data and notification watches. Data is stored in the EU (AWS eu-central-1). - Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notification delivery. Your FCM device token is transmitted to Google's servers when a notification is sent to you. - PDOK Locatieserver (api.pdok.nl) — a Dutch government geocoding API. When you enter a location for a search, the address string is sent to PDOK to resolve coordinates. No personal identifiers are included in these requests. - Padel booking platforms (e.g. Playtomic, Bookaball, MeetAndPlay) — your search criteria (dates, times, court preferences) are forwarded to these platforms server-side to retrieve availability. No account data is shared with these platforms. --- 5. DATA RETENTION - Your account data and notification watches are retained until you delete your account. - You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the app. --- 6. YOUR RIGHTS Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can: - View and edit your notification watches directly in the app. - Delete your account and all associated data via Settings → Delete Account. - Contact us at contact@padelchecker.nl for any other data requests. --- 7. SECURITY All communication between the app and our server uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Authentication tokens are stored securely using the platform keychain (iOS) or Keystore (Android). --- 8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this privacy policy when the app changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
